Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy of Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor as well as a teacher at school, supported and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theater. The initial goal of her of becoming a specialist in monkeys was surpassed by her desire to learn about drama and theater. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity was a sign of her development as an actor. The actress declares herself to be non-Catholic. Neben her acting, Tautou has also been a model and the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Photographing is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work in the Arles festival with the name Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. Cameras are focused towards journalists who scrutinized her as she rose to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her debut role as Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim during awards ceremonies across the world. The film is still the top-grossing French language film in the US. Later, in the same year, she was a part of British dramas including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Junet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood to work in Hollywood, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
